On 24 November 2025, Rafamet signed a contract with Siemens Mobility for the delivery and installation of a UGE underfloor wheel lathe. This is the first machine for this customer on the domestic (Polish) market – previously we had cooperated on foreign projects. Our machine is to be installed in the planned maintenance and repair hall near Poznań at the end of the first quarter of 2027. We thank Siemens Mobility for once again placing trust in our technological solutions.

We are pleased to announce that on 20 November 2025, Rafamet signed a contract with Baikonur Stroy Snab LLC (Astana) for the supply and installation of a UGE 180 N underfloor wheel lathe. The machine will be installed in a new railway rolling stock maintenance hall in Almaty. The contract covers the delivery, installation and commissioning of the lathe at the customer’s site and is scheduled for completion by the end of Q2 2026.

We are delighted that our solutions will support Kazakhstan Railways. This contract is not only another successful project in our portfolio, but also further evidence of the growing trust that customers worldwide place in Rafamet and its technology.

On May 7, 2025, Rafamet successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test of the UGE 300 N underfloor wheel lathe and the 3RS 800 rail-road shunter with representatives of the Moroccan Railways. We are proud of the fact, that this is Rafamet’s ninth lathe for this partner. The equipment will be installed at a new repair facility in Kenitra, where the underfloor wheel lathe will support the regeneration of wheels and brake discs for high-speed trains and the shunter will handle vehicles up to 800 tons.

Last week, we announced the signing of a contract for the delivery of a UGE underfloor wheel lathe to the Romanian carrier CFR Călători. Today, we are delighted to announce that we have concluded another separate agreement with the same client - this time for the delivery of a machine to the maintenance facility in Baia Mare.

We are delighted to share that we have signed a contract with CEMET S.A. for the delivery of the modern UBF 112 N wheel lathe. The machine will be deployed at production facilities near Kielce, where it will support the regeneration processes of railway wheelsets. The lathe is scheduled to be commissioned in the second half of 2025. This marks another step in strengthening cooperation with key partners and delivering advanced technological solutions to the market. The underfloor wheel lathe UGE, manufactured by RAFAMET, will be delivered to the maintenance depot of the Romanian railway operator CFR Călători. The machine will operate in the Craiova workshop, where a UBC 150 lathe from the 1970s – also produced by RAFAMET - is still in use today. We are proud to support CFR Călători – the largest passenger railway operator in Romania – in ensuring safe and efficient fleet operations.
