Remembering Urszula Niedźwiedź

On the 3rd of April 2021, Urszula Niedźwiedź – Chief Accountant in the RAFAMET S.A. Machine Tool Factory for many years, has passed away at the age of 59 after a serious ilness.
Her entire professional life was associated with financial and accounting services of the company. She begun work in 1985, after graduating from the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. Initially, she was employed in the Financial Department, then in the Department of Industrial Accounting, and in 1989 she became the Manager of the Accounting Department. After completing postgraduate studies in accounting at the WSB University in Wrocław in 2002, she took the position of Chief Accountant and was simultaneously appointed by the Board to perform the function of Proxy. In 2007, she was one of the key people responsible for listing of RAFAMET S.A. on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. As Chief Accountant of a publicly traded company, Urszula was constantly improving her qualifications, i.a. through finishing postgraduate studies in accounting and financial control at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business and through obtaining a Certificate from the Minister of Finances for bookkeeping services.
Urszula was knowledgable and reliable, but most importantly, she performed her work with great dedication and commitment. We will remember her as extraordinarily warm and cheerful, always open to helping others, greatly valued and respected by her superiors and as a Colleague much liked by her peers.
